Why does it take so long to do anything new on my computer? It's almost as if my two years of learning Fortran and entering code on IBM punch cards is of no use!

Fortran and Punch Cards?! Oh My GAWD!, you too?!
I haven't heard anyone mention Fortran since the early 80s. And punch cards?, do you know that there are still some puters in use today relying on such antiquated technology? It is simply amazing to me how far we've come in twenty-five years. Wow!
Renee. As someone who sat through your punchcarding days right next to you (think back), I have to say neither of us got the hang of it until UCSD changed over to PASCAL.
